Air Evac Lifeteam, operated by Air Evac EMS, Inc., is the largest independently owned and operated membership-supported air medical service in the United States, conducting its operations through more than 75 mutually-supporting air medical bases across 12 states. The company has established itself as the preeminent provider of air ambulance services to rural markets, serving over 1,300 diverse referral sources, including over 600 hospitals and 700 EMS agencies, and attracting more than 635,000 members
The Tennessee Region II EMS (R2EMS) Directors Association is composed of ambulance service, emergency medical service, rescue, aeromedical and hospital agencies located in East Tennessee. We are a not-for-profit organization chartered by the State of Tennessee. Besides this website, R2EMS directors sponsor a medical symposium providing up-to-date medical training for EMTs, paramedics, nurses, physicians and other allied medical professionals.
